Princess Irene befriends a young miner named Curdie, who warns her against the goblins under the mountain. Full of humor and suspense, this story of heroism and courage also looks at what it means to have faith in what is unseen. Employing dance and creative movement, full-body puppets, colorful costuming, beautiful music and sound effects, and interaction with the audience, The Princess and the Goblin–based on George MacDonald’s beloved children’s novel–is sure to delight and enthrall children and adults alike. Rated G for all ages
