A Word About Tigger…

Tigger, as iconic as he is, did not actually appear in the first volume of the Pooh stories. He is introduced in The House at Pooh Corner, which did not enter public domain until January of this year. Since we had originally intended to premier this play last September (2023), Tigger would not have been permitted to appear royalty-free. Once we realized the premiere would be delayed, we considered adding him…but this play had an integrity we didn’t want to mar, and really, Tigger deserves to be a feature, not an afterthought. We are certainly not ruling out the possibility of an afO sequel. Perhaps in our 2025-2026 season?  Stay tuned!
