Many of you will be aware that we premiered a new Christmas piece last December.…
Audition notice: WALK TWO MOONS
AUDITION
November 19, 7 PM
2310 Weisser Park Ave, 46803
Based on the Newbery award winning novel by Sharon Creech, this coming of age story takes place in several narrative frames simultaneously, leaping back and forth in time and memory between: a road trip Sal is taking with her grandparents to find her mother; the story of her best friend Phoebe, whose mother has disappeared, which Sal tells to pass the time; Sal’s memories of her own life in Kentucky before her mother abandoned her; and Sal’s interior thoughts. It is only through telling Phoebe’s story that Sal begins to truly understand her own.
Audition at all for One offices, 2310 Weisser Park Avenue, Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 7:00 PM.
Rehearsal begins Thursday, December 12 at 6:30 PM. Other December rehearsals are Dec 16, 17, and 19. Break for Christmas, then pick up again in January on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday.
Performances in the PPG ArtsLab, March 7-9 and 14-16, 2025.

We STRONGLY recommend reading the book before auditioning. There are emotionally charged themes in this production that the young adults (and their parents) who are auditioning should be aware of.
